What is The International LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Conference?

The International LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Conference is an annual event in Billund, Denmark – the home of the LEGO® brick. The conference is hosted by Hotel LEGOLAND® and Inthrface, and it presents a program packed with interesting new inspiration, knowledge, research, networking opportunities and best practice sharing.

Earlier conferences have had inspiring presentations from professor and co-inventor of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology, Johan S. Roos, about the history of the development of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, and why it remains so powerful after two decades. We have also had the pleasure of presenting professor Hans Henrik Knoop, who has enlightened the participants about the power of flow, which is an essential part of the LSP method.

“The International LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® conference held by Inthrface is just outstanding! The conference is loaded with interesting speakers and useful themes. It is also great to see the inventors of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method taking such an active role at the conferences. I think this clearly shows Inthrface’s key role in the international LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® community. I also highly recommend the advanced trainings held before or after the main conference.”

Thomas Krogh, Denmark.

Who attends The International LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Conference?

The International LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Conference gathers trained facilitators from all over the world. Most participants are facilitators trained by Inthrface at LEGOLAND® resorts, but all trained LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® practitioners are welcome at the conference. The conference promotes an open, unprejudiced and respectful dialogue about the infinite possibilities of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® tool. We want the conference to contribute to making the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® tool a more mainstream process tool all over the world. Parts of the conference are also open to less experienced LSP facilitators, who want to increase their insight and learn more about the unique and effective LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® process tool.

Before and after the conference, Inthrface offers advanced LSP trainings, enabling facilitators to become more capable in using this tool in their own organizations or companies. The trainings are facilitated by experts from Inthrface, and they draw on experience from more than 850 LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshops worldwide during the last decade.

Thank you very much for a wonderful LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Conference. I always feel inspired from the sessions and discussions. It makes travelling all that way completely worth it.

Michael Fearne, Australia.
