The international conference in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology.

Earlier this week Inthrface and LEGOLAND® Hotel and conference held the international conference in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) methodology. If you missed the conference here are some of the highlights. The aim of the conference was to create a platform where facilitators could inspire each other and gain new insights about the power of serious play and the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology.

On the day leading up to the conference we held an advanced training session for trained facilitators in the LSP methodology. The instructors were Micael Buckle, the CEO of Inthrface and professor Johan Roos the co-founders of LSP. The training gave the participants new LPS tools to help a group handle complex issues and transform them into opportunities. The participants were very content with the different he sessions and we will most likely run another advanced training session at next year’s conference.

The first day of the conference was all about gaining new insights to be used in connection with the LSP work. that the participants could use. The first Key note speaker was Anders Kofod-Petersen the Deputy director and professor at The Alexandra Institute.  His speech was about the research and understanding artificial intelligence and how it can be used in change development. The second Key note speaker was Jakob Piet, psychologist and Ph.D. at The Danish Center for Mindfulness. His speech was about mindfulness in the relation to flow – a vital part of the LSP methodology. The last key note speaker was Johan Roos, professor and co-inventor of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology. He gave some insights in his latest research in LSP and the future development of the tool.

The second day was all about inspiration and knowledge sharing. Five people from the Brickminds community gave some insights in how they use LSP in their work. The speeches showed the diversity of the LSP methodology and we want to thank all the speakers for some very insightful and inspiring presentations.

We want to thank everyone who participated in the conference and we hope to see you all next year!
